Payare makes his first appearances with the Cleveland Orchestra. At the Blossom Music Festival, the ensemble’s summer home, he leads a pairing of Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony with Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto, featuring Stefan Jackiw as soloist. About the debut and what it means to him, Payare says:

“With its European sound, the Cleveland Orchestra is one of the most refined and prestigious orchestras in the world. I’ve only heard them live once, but it made a deep impression on me and I’m really looking forward to making music with them.”
