Payare Debuts with San Francisco Symphony

On May 11-13, Rafael Payare will make his previously postponed San Francisco Symphony debut, leading the orchestra in its premiere performance of William Grant Still’s Darker America at Davies Symphony Hall.

The program also includes Richard Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben and Brahms’s Violin Concerto, performed with violinist Hilary Hahn.

There will be an open rehearsal for the concerts on May 11, at 10:00 AM (local time).
